Takuya Soma is a risk management and insurance professional with broad international experience supporting global organizations across industries including automotive, manufacturing, and multi-location retail. He began his career at a leading Japanese insurance company In Japan, where he held roles in auto insurance strategy, corporate planning, and international business. His background includes an overseas assignment in China, where he helped develop branded insurance programs with a global automotive manufacturer, as well as contributing to disaster response efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Since joining MSTIS in 2018, Takuya has been based in Torrance, CA, providing risk consulting services to Japanese corporate clients operating across the United States. In his current role as Corporate Planning Manager, he collaborates across departments to enhance company value, support market development, and bring strategic insight that benefits both clients and the company.
Takuya holds a degree in Management from Seikei University. A lifelong soccer player, he enjoys futsal, training, and spending weekends watching his son play.
